HR 875 could potentially destroy our access to healthy, organic, contaminant-free food forever. It is being touted as the “Food Safety Bill” and has a lot of congressional support. The manner in which this bill is written even allows for government control of how food is grown in your own back yard. Imagine being fined for growing contraband pesticide free produce–even just to feed your own family!
Other similarly destructive “food safety” bills are also currently being considered by congress, including HR 814, SR 425, and soon, HR 759.
