BETTER“–A lifestyle magazine show airing on multiple networks nationwide did a feature story on Nora, Neurofeedback and Primal Body-Primal Mind.  The show aired yesterday in 50 cities nationwide.   The segment can be viewed here:   Train Your Brain

The gorgeous culinary masterpieces featured on the segment were prepared by chef, Pauli Halstead of Hood River, OR and author of soon-to-be-released cookbook:  ‘Cuisine for Whole Health, Recipes for a Sustainable Life‘.  Whole Foods Cuisine is a “Primal friendly” compendium of nutrient-dense delights that anyone can learn to prepare at home with minimum difficulty and maximal benefit.  I will also put the recipes shown on the show on the recipe section of this blog.  I can tell you I am still having dreams about those two entrees after partaking of them after the filming.  OMG….

ALSO shown in the segment (but unfortunately also not discussed or properly credited in the final cut) was a dish of something that resembles ice cream with sliced strawberries.  This ambrosial concoction is the creation and invention of Tracy Bosnian of Hula Kitchen

The  mysterious delight in the dish with the berries was nothing other than homemade coconut yogurt.  Tracy calls this mind-bendingly delicious and nutritious, soon to be famous taste treat “Coco-Yo”.  It is entirely dairy-free, chocked-full with healthy probiotics…and the stuff that dreams are made of.  Guaranteed to curl your toes.  Tracy also created a jerky spice mix to die for that can be mixed with healthy grass-fed ground beef at home and then easily prepared in a dehydrator.  The result is nothing short of astonishing (have you ever had beef jerky literally melt in your mouth?).  NO LIE.  You can mail order these amazing goodies and more through the Hula Kitchen web site to be shipped almost anywhere.

The “BETTER”  show segment was literally jam packed with information about neurofeedback, and how it was able to help a stroke survivor.  The show also featured a few basic aspects of my book and dietary approach.  They even insisted on showing the viewers some photos of me some years back in the days when I worked with wolves and spent time in the High Arctic (back when I had a perm).  A veritable whirlwind of infotainment.  I hope you find it enjoyable.  The BETTER team were a blast to work with and did a great job of packing it all into less that 5 minutes.  In the future, this video segment can be viewed as part of a video access on my home page (coming soon!).

Many thanks to host, Kim Singer and the crew at “BETTER” TV!!!
