I agree with a few of these points, and I feel there are some gray areas as well. However, I have serious issues with some of these points. We cannot simultaneously ask the government to ban the things we don't like and give its blessing to the things we like. That is exactly the problem we have now--we're just not the majority. The government has established itself as an Authority on these matters, recommending a certain diet and often dictating to the rest of use how we should eat and what will be allowed. This is the *problem*, not the solution.

The parts of it that I agree with are the parts that demand freedom--freedom to choose what types of medical care we will accept for ourselves and our children, freedom to choose our health care practioners and to end the witch hunts against those outside the establishment.

We cannot force good health on the rest of society. We can only demand the right to make our own choices without government interference, and acknowledge that those who choose to make bad decisions have that same right. Let the government step out of health care, leaving each of us free to research our own options. When the government is accepted as the Authority, special interests will reign, as they do now, and they will not benefit the general public.
